Ease

Hi, it’s me! It’s been a while and for good reason. Life has taken it’s twists and turns which left me feeling peak levels of stress in 2023. As the new year approached, I vowed to invite in more ease into my life which is exactly why I chose ‘ease’ as my word for the year.

When I tell you that I’ve been ruthless with this mission, it would be an understatement. Anything and everything that I agree to do these days is run through an extensive series of filters.

  • Does this bring me joy?

  • Does this bring me closer to my life goals?

  • Does this invoke growth?

  • Does this takeaway from time from my family and is it worth it?

  • Will I leave the experience feeling drained or invigorated?

  • Is this a priority now?

As you can imagine, not too much makes it through this filtering system. The end result of living this way for the last three months has brought more peace, space, joy, presence, patience, and perhaps most important, significantly less stress. It also means that I’ve been saying no a lot more frequently.

My yoga teaching schedule has drastically changed, I’m currently only teaching one regular yoga class per week. With the extra time in my schedule, I find myself leaning into more yoga events, workshops, and even leading small portions of 200-hour yoga teacher trainings! I love that I can be more singularly focused on each of these experiences and create the space for you. It’s not quite a niche down but it has changed the way I view my offerings. Much gratitude to you, my community, for continuing to show up.

I’m hopeful that soon I’ll be able add in one more public yoga class to my schedule because I do miss the weekly tap in but until then, I hope to see you at an upcoming yoga event!

With deep love,
Paige
